Burnt Stones & Isaiah’s Job

The story of Nehemiah rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem has always been a passionate Scripture because it has to do with spiritual ecology. Many of the materials Nehemiah had to build with were burnt stones.

In this Plumbline, Bob Mumford explains three types of burnt stones and gives us several points on how to rebuild the Remnant back into the body of Christ.

The second half of this Plumbline is written by Albert Nock entitled, “Isaiah’s Job” which clearly addresses the issue of what to do about the Remnant, who they are, and how to reach them.

These two important writings may help determine our approach to ministry in general.
