Our Lord Jesus has, indeed, risen from the dead!

Christ’s resurrection is its own miracle; one extremely distinct from all others. There is nothing in all human history to which it can be compared. Resurrection enables God to build His living temple on failed, religious effort.

With Christ’s arrival in the throne room of His Father, His personal ascension complete, the New Testament records something like 44 “new things”. These were the direct result of the resurrection. Some are repeated, of course, but giving their testimony none-the-less. Scripture summarizes the fruit of the resurrection like this: I am making all things new!

In my own experience of resurrection around Easter in 1954, I have engaged many of these “new things”. For our Easter strength and encouragement, I decided to list a few of them. The spiritual impact on my person just now in reviewing them was measurable and intense:

New teaching; New Wine; New tongues; New covenant; New humanity; New creation; New man; New self; New heaven; New earth; New Jerusalem; New song.

“Since by man (Adam) came death, by Man (Christ) came the resurrection of the dead” (1 Cor. 15: 21). And this good news is immediately followed by Paul telling us how Christ’s resurrection returns us to ourselves. “For as in Adam all die, so in Christ shall all be made alive” (v. 22). Christ reveals the “new self”.  It is a new me, Paul says, yet not I but Christ, now lives in me (Gal. 2:20).

The fruit of resurrection, which must be understood and owned: Easter and Christ’s resurrection causes our faith in Christ and our earthly human journey to become Cosmic. We are able to finish without shame, chaos, or defeat!

Redemptive purpose, due to Christ’s defeat of all principalities and powers, has been transformed from Jewish history and religious activity. It is now fully Cosmic. Father, is destined to become “all things to all persons” (1 Cor. 15:28).

We here at Lifechangers are grateful for you and your support. All of us, with great care and purpose, are endeavoring to face the magnitude of changes that are now confronting us. Kingdom Principles are eternal; however, the principles require fresh insight, allowing us to acknowledge and embrace Cosmic application and fulfillment. Pray for us, as we also hold each of you before the Lord.

Agape,

Bob Mumford
