Wisdom Session 6 – Acting Against Myself

Learning to act against yourself is diagnostic – a tool to help you see your real identity. Acting against yourself demonstrates your own value system, and if you lack a value system, it becomes immediately apparent. Acting against yourself also increases your personal contribution in word and deed to those around you.

Choices are determinate and have consequences! If you are unable to act against yourself, it deeply effects your ability to be a real person, causing you to walk in unreality.

We frequently hear the price of what it costs to obey, but we do not often hear the costs of failure to obey. Acting against yourself is a principled skill that causes you to mature in the reality of the person of Jesus Christ.
